Last year I went for holidays to Japan. I loved it! I have had there best days of my life. When I came back, Japan was in my mind all the time. I fell in love with its culture, atmosphere and everything connected with that country. I started to read Japanese literature, preparing Japanese meals and getting more and more fascinated with Japanese movies. I know that this can sound a bit weird but I couldn’t help it. If I just could, I would possibly move to Japan. Unfortunately, for different commitments, I just couldn’t. So, I was trying to surround myself with as many Japanese objects as possible.

Many my friends were aware of my Japanese passion. I have to admit they were very tolerant about this. They were often cooking sushi but there was nothing else they was able to do for me. At least I thought so. But then one day my friend told me about oriental wallpaper he saw in a shop. At the beginning I didn’t know what oriental wallpaper means but I went with my friend to this shop to check it up. When I saw it I just knew this was perfect for me. It was simply gorgeous. What my colleague showed me was a wallpaper with great patterns on it. However, that was not some banal patterns (page). E.g., on the flowers wallpaper there was a cherry blossom. I assume you are familiar with the fact that this is widely recognized a symbol of Japan. In consequence, I am conviced that you can imagine how content I was when I saw this! Between many other wallpapers, I have chosen also another oriental wallpaper, with Japanese landscape that I was missing so much. I know this sounds unbelievable that I was lucky to find accurately what I was hoping for. But believe me – new kind of wallpapers have almost every pattern you could look for. And even if not, you can create your own wallpaper which would have pattern you long for! I not only bought two wallpapers I saw, but also ordered 2 more that I wanted to see in my apartment.

As a result of this, walls in my apartment make me feel like I am still in Japan. This is so much better than just plain, uninteresting walls I used to have in my house previously. So, if you are obsessed with anything so badly as I was haunted by Japan, I would suggest to think about using wallpapers! It can enable you fill your room with the atmosphere of the place you are missing – .
